Jon Dale is a project engineer supporting the Infrastructure Protection and Disaster Management Division with DHS/S&T. He is currently working on projects that address information sharing, situational awareness, and mapping symbology for the public safety community. Prior to his current position he was a project manager with the National Geospatial-Information Agency (NGA) working on information technology projects to provide access to distributed geospatially referenced information and imagery. He also led projects in information visualization and modeling and simulation for NGA. He holds a BS degree in Natural Resource Management from University of Maryland, a MA in National Security and Strategic Studies from the Navy College of Command and Staff, and a Graduate Certificate in Systems Engineering from GWU.
